| Not all
photographers begin with a full four light system. This
is the number of lights that I use and recommend. When
you have less than four lights, you have to decide what
jobs they will perform and what you must compromise on.
Since there must be a main light, any additional lights
are used for fill, hair or background. The LightingMagic
Reflector Panel can effectively add an additional
light back into your system by replacing your powered
fill light with soft, controllable reflected light. The
reflector fill is placed to the front of the subject on
the opposite side of the main light so that it returns
some of the main light back into the shadow side of the
subject. This will allow you to use any powered lights
where ever you desire. If you happen to have a three
light system, you can have powered main, hair and
background lights with your reflector acting as a fill
light.
If you already have a full four light system, you can use the panel as a fill light and have an extra light available for more creativity and special lighting effects. It's like having 5 lights without the extra expense! The LightingMagic Reflector Panel is inexpensive, fast and simple to use and requires no special effort. The LightingMagic Reflector Panel measures 36 inches wide by 60 inches tall and may be extended to a greater height with the use of additional sections of PVC pipe. The instructions are easy to follow and you can have your frame built in just a few minutes once you have a few dollars worth of PVC pipe and fittings. My pre-teen daughter can do it in no time! |
